Our Repertory
|
The Piedmont Wind Symphony enjoys a good challenge. We perform original band
compositions and arrangements of works from the classical repertoire from all
nations and periods, as well as arrangements of popular music from movies,
Broadway, and television.
We have performed original works or arrangements of works by Hindemith,
Rossini, John Williams, J.S. Bach, P.D.Q. Bach, Elgar, Grainger, Holst, Vaughan
Williams, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Tichelli, Grieg, Walton, Mozart, von Weber,
von Suppe, Alford, Sousa and many others.
At least one of our concerts each year is a 'Pops' concert.
