The road to freedom is never easy, but music can help move us forward.  The Piedmont Wind Symphony will perform music with varied connections to the Civil Rights movement in the 1950s - music by William Grant Still, music dedicated to Rosa Parks and Medgar Evers, Concerto for Saxophone and Wind Orchestra featuring Robert Young of UNCSA, and Symphony No. 3 by Vittorio Giannini, founder and first president of UNCSA – interspersed with readings of poems and letters from this era.

Prices after taxes and fees: $20, $25, $30

Tickets are available online or by calling 336-721-1945.
