With this unique and rich combination of instruments, the Piedmont Wind Symphony’s repertoire ranges from classical, pops, jazz big band, and beyond. Perfect for accompanying guest artists, PWS has brought a diverse selection of stars to the Triad, hosting accomplished performers such as Arturo Sandoval, Neil Sedaka, Paul Anka, Kenny G, Maynard Ferguson, Dionne Warwick, Ernie Watts, Frederick Fennell, America, Ben Folds, The Wailers, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Boyz II Men, and many others.

We are proud to call Winston-Salem our home, and we are privileged to share this home with so many other great art organizations. We have had the pleasure to collaborate with many of these organizations, including The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, RiverRun Film Festival, Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, and UNC School of the Arts. PWS has also collaborated with composers for premiers of their work.
