Winston-Salem, NC (May 13, 2025) – Piedmont Wind Symphony is thrilled to announce the return of Pops in the Pit, its high-energy, family-friendly summer concert series, with "Stars, Stripes, and Symphonies" — two unforgettable evenings of music outdoors.

Join Piedmont Wind Symphony for this free, open-to-the-public celebration of live music: 


  • Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 7:30 PM The Coal Pit at Incendiary Brewing, Downtown Winston-Salem

  • Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 7:30 PM Incendiary Brewing Lewisville


Under the baton of Artistic Director and Conductor Mark A. Norman, Piedmont Wind Symphony will light up the night with a crowd-pleasing program designed for all ages. Expect patriotic favorites and Juneteenth celebrations perfect for families, music lovers, and summer revelers alike.


Bring your own chair, grab a drink from Incendiary Brewing, and settle in for the soundtrack of your summer in two of the Triad’s most vibrant community spaces.


Whether you're a devoted fan or just discovering the magic of live symphonic music, “Stars, Stripes, and Symphonies” promises an evening full of fun.
