Performing in the Bavarian tradition, The Sauerkrauts have collectively performed for hundreds of Oktoberfest and German events throughout NC, VA, MD and Washington, DC. The members of The Sauerkrauts perform as a chamber ensemble of the Piedmont Wind Symphony, a professional wind band entering its 34th season. The band performs polkas, waltzes, foxtrots and leads the audiences in singing rousing songs and in traditional Ein Prosit toasts. Crowds are encouraged to dance, sing, or simply enjoy their favorite Dunkel with the band. Prost!
